About Job

This position is an in person position working at facilities

Summary

Senior Connections – Clinical Psychologist in Vancouver, WA area.

Senior Connections provides comprehensive mental health care services for Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Rehabilitation centers across Washington State, since 1998.

Come join our team of professionals committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of these under-served individuals in nursing home settings. Our strategy for achieving this is by delivering mental health services and behavioral health interventions by professionals who convey genuine empathy and care. Services are primarily in person. Residents and treatment team staff consistently report that residents receiving Senior Connections services have experienced an increased quality of life.

Gero psychology experience is not a requirement as child psychologists and inpatient psychologists possess the skills to make the transition easily as well. We offer training for all staff to serve our specific population, equipping you with the mental health skills that you need to succeed in our behavioral health setting. We offer flexible schedules with sustainable caseloads, and we require a two-day commitment per week minimum.

We offer

  • Remuneration 100k+, full-time, part time available
  • Professional Development
  • CE reimbursement available
  • Travel reimbursement
  • Free and stress-free credentialing with major insurers

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

  • PhD or PsyD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Washington.
  • Must qualify for Medicare and insurance participation and for professional liability insurance.
  • Experience providing psychotherapy in a mental health setting (e.g., child adolescent, inpatient, geropsychiatric, etc.).
