Position overview

The full time licensed psychologist position will lead and manage the psychological assessment program at Seattle Counseling and Wellness. This role includes completing comprehensive psychological assessments, conducting therapy, providing supervision for doctoral practicum students in testing, and ensuring quality and efficiency across testing services.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Testing (Approximately 25-27 hrs/week)

  • Complete 1 full psychological testing battery per week and 10 weekly therapy client appointments
  • Maintain timely documentation, including intake notes, test scoring, interpretation, report writing, and feedback sessions
  • Collaborate with referral sources, clients, and families to ensure clarity and utility of reports
  • Ensure average of 15 billable hours per case

Supervision of Testing Practicum Students (4-5 hrs/week for 10 months)

  • Supervise up to 2 doctoral students completing 1.5 cases/month
  • Provide:
  • 1 hour intake support per case
  • 1 hour feedback session per case
  • 1 hour report review and editing per case
  • 1 hour case conceptualization
  • Oversee clinical quality, ethical practice, and skill development of trainees
  • Participate in orientation and training of students during the first month

Schedule & Structure

  • Full-time (30-34 hrs/week)
  • Student supervision occurs over 10 months

Compensation

  • Base salary: $120,000 for 1 testing case per week and 10 therapy hours
  • Total compensation: $120,000 salary + benefits package valued at approximately $20,000 = total compensation = $140,000

Qualifications

  • Licensed psychologist in Washington State. Candidate has held a psychologist license in any state for 2 years.
  • Demonstrated expertise in psychological assessment (ADHD, LD, Autism, Differential Dx)
  • Experience in report writing, case conceptualization, and delivering feedback
  • Experience supervising
  • Alignment with the collaborative, compassionate culture of the practice

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $125,000.00 per year
