About Us:

Believe Psychology Group, Inc is a private practice that offers therapeutic services that promote Healing, Personal Growth and Empowerment. We offer individual, group & family strength-based therapy services and specialize in working with clients with diverse backgrounds. We utilize an expansive array of interpersonal and evidence-based interventions (e.g., Psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, Humanistic, Trauma-Focused and Positive Psychology). Our clientele includes high-functioning insurance-paid clients and some private pay with varied socio-economic statuses.

About You:

You are eligible as a California Board of Psychology Psychological Associate. You must already possess a PsyD or PhD in Psychology at the time of hire. You must already have 1500 pre-doctorate hours collected towards clinical experience. You have training and experience in treating anxiety, depression and/or struggles common to young adults. You enjoy working with diverse clients from various ethnic communities and special populations such as African Americans, Latinos, working class and young adults. Your therapeutic style is compassionate, multi-culturally competent, culturally-sensitive, confident and strength-based. You are looking to join a team of professionals and grow with an innovative company. Your clinical competencies may include working with anxiety, depression, school-related stress, adulting, grief, racial identity, LGBTQ, self-esteem and/or trauma. You would describe yourself as being warm, compassionate, and easy to gain rapport with clients. You have a commitment to professional development and a growth mindset approach to learning.

*Preferred if you are or have been previously credentialed with Carelon and other insurance carriers.

**Room for advancement into a licensed psychologist role with increased pay.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapy sessions (in-person and online) *Flexible to meet the needs of the client is required.
  • Maintain ethical and complete client records. Submit required documentation in a timely manner
  • Conduct intake assessments. Develop therapeutic and treatment plans based on clients' interests, abilities, or needs.
  • Keep accurate and honest records of services rendered.
  • Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and clients.
  • Identify and communicate potential client risks while effectively managing concerns or conflicts. Consult with team if needed.
  • Respond timely to email correspondences in a professional manner
  • Be listed on client matching sites (e.g., Psychology Today, TherapyDen, etc.)
  • ...additional duties if needed for client care

Compensation:

$25-$30 dependent on experience and insurance reimbursement

Compensation is per client session hour. Paid time for documentation and administrative meetings.
