School Social Worker Must meet all health, physical and background check requirements. Must hold a current Tennessee license with endorsement #488 (School Social Worker). Possess strong interpersonal skills-ability to work effectively with a wide range of people (i.e., students, school administrators, teachers, support staff, parents, and other professionals in the school and community). Ability to carry out responsibilities with limited direct supervision. Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively. Strong problem-solving skills. Possess a broad knowledge and demonstrate proficiency in the application of Special Education Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining to the referral, identification, and placement of students with disabilities. Strong written and verbal presentation skills Possess sufficient computer skills necessary to maintain records and complete required documents and other paperwork related to the position.
