Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

Perform diagnostic evaluations and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and behavioral therapy, to facilitate client recovery.
Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies related to substance use.
Collect and analyze data related to patient progress and treatment outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary.
Offer support for co-occurring disorders, including PTSD care, ensuring holistic treatment approaches are utilized.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery processes, and available resources.
Develop a strong utilization of the Dr. P. Carnes addiction treatment program.
Provide individual, group, and/or couples therapy rooted in the CSAT model.
Work with those struggling with compulsive sexual behaviors, betrayal trauma, and relationship repair.
Facilitate structured processes such as therapeutic disclosures and relapse prevention planning.
Collaborate with a team that values innovation, empathy, and integrity in all aspects of treatment.
Participate in continuing education, workshops, and a community of professionals who support your growth.

Requirements

Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
Licensure (or eligibility in the state of Michigan.
Passion for working with sexual addiction recovery and trauma healing.
Strong values aligned with faith-based, truth-centered counseling practices.
A team player with heart, humility, and a hunger to make a difference.
CSAT Certification or Candidate seeking certification as an addiction therapist.
Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and familiarity with ICD-9 coding.
Strong understanding of crisis intervention strategies and behavioral health practices.
Experience in data collection and analysis related to treatment efficacy.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
A compassionate approach towards individuals facing addiction challenges.

Pay: $75.00 - $125.00 per hour
