Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and behavioral therapy, to facilitate client recovery.
- Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies related to substance use.
- Collect and analyze data related to patient progress and treatment outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Offer support for co-occurring disorders, including PTSD care, ensuring holistic treatment approaches are utilized.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery processes, and available resources.
- Develop a strong utilization of the Dr. P. Carnes addiction treatment program.
- Provide individual, group, and/or couples therapy rooted in the CSAT model.
- Work with those struggling with compulsive sexual behaviors, betrayal trauma, and relationship repair.
- Facilitate structured processes such as therapeutic disclosures and relapse prevention planning.
- Collaborate with a team that values innovation, empathy, and integrity in all aspects of treatment.
- Participate in continuing education, workshops, and a community of professionals who support your growth.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
- Licensure (or eligibility in the state of Michigan.
- Passion for working with sexual addiction recovery and trauma healing.
- Strong values aligned with faith-based, truth-centered counseling practices.
- A team player with heart, humility, and a hunger to make a difference.
- CSAT Certification or Candidate seeking certification as an addiction therapist.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and familiarity with ICD-9 coding.
- Strong understanding of crisis intervention strategies and behavioral health practices.
- Experience in data collection and analysis related to treatment efficacy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- A compassionate approach towards individuals facing addiction challenges.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $75.00 - $125.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
