Job Title: Social Worker - Adult Outpatient Therapist
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Adult Outpatient Therapist to join our clinical team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive outpatient mental health services to adults and families, including intake assessments, individual and group therapy, and care coordination. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, effective communication abilities, and a deep commitment to supporting individuals experiencing mental health and/or co-occurring substance use challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake evaluations and provide evidence-based individual and group therapy for adults and families.
- Complete assessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with Person-Centered Planning principles.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, school staff, and other support networks to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations.
- Maintain active State of Michigan licensure and meet all contractual and funding requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of clinical records and agency documentation.
- Assist with effective discharge planning and follow-up care.
- Participate in 24 hours of continuing education focused on adult mental health and/or co-occurring substance use disorders.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
- Licensure: Must possess or be eligible to obtain a valid Michigan license (LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMSW, LPC, or LLP).
- Unlicensed candidates may be considered but must obtain state licensure within 60 days of hire (may be extended up to 120 days).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness (internship/fieldwork experience acceptable).
- Must obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential within 120 days of hire.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.
- Cultural competency and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems (Epic preferred).

Pay: $52,026.00 - $73,281.00 per year
