PRN/Per Diem- NM Home Study Provider

**Work schedule coordinated with client availability and routine, training, supervision and/or administrative meetings. May require additional or alternate hours to complete the job, including weekends and evenings.
Travel will be required within the state of New Mexico. May require some overnight travel.

All Faiths Children’s Advocacy Center (AFCAC) is currently seeking a NM Home Study Prover to join our team and help children and families thrive! AFCAC are the only Children’s Advocacy Center in Albuquerque, working as trusted advocates for children and families affected by trauma.

Required:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Education, Counseling Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Family Services or related degree approved by CYFD, from an accredited college/university

2. Two (2) years* of any combination of experience including working with communities on health or social service related matters, social work/case management experience, behavioral health and/or health care.
*Current LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, LMSW, LMHC or other license accepted by the state of New Mexico for the provision of counseling or social work can be substituted for the two (2) years of experience.

4. Must complete READi NM Pre-Services Training within thirty (30) days of hire date.

5. Must be able to obtain SAFE certification within 30 days of hire.

Preferred:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Education, Counseling Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Family Services or related field preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

What will I do as a NM Home Study Provider with All Faith’s?

• Performs Pre-Placement Home Studies and Home Study Updates for CYFD Home Study Contract and Private Adoption assigned by Director of Placement Services or other All Faiths Placement Services leadership.
• Follows guidelines, completes necessary steps and appropriate documents as outlined in the Home Study Procedures Manual to ensure completion of Pre-Placement Home Studies and Updates.
• Prepares Pre-Placement Home Study reports containing a thorough assessment and recommendation by utilizing SAFE tools including SAFE Questionnaires I and II, SAFE Psychosocial Inventory and Desk Guide, SAFE Home Study Report template and SAFE Family Reference Letter.
• Actively participates in All Faiths’ Continuous Quality Improvement requirements by adhering to required time frames for all duties and responsibilities as outlined, but not limited to, in the Home Study Procedures Manual.
• Completes Withdrawal/Partial process as outlined in the Home Study Procedures Manual.
• Completes home study, EMR, and Binti file peer reviews.
• Reviews incoming referrals for completeness, as assigned by Director of Placement Services.
