Alice King Community School (AKCS) is a K-8 charter school with a focus on multiage classrooms, project-based learning, and social-emotional learning. AKCS has a 4-day student week and an extended school year.

AKCS is seeking qualified candidates for the following position - Licensed School Social Worker.

Duties include:

• Work with students and teachers in special education and general education
• Conduct individual and small group counseling
• Provide consultation with staff members, outside providers, and families
• Conduct assessments for special education services with students, families, and school staff
• Participate in the IEP process
• Provide crisis intervention support
• Participate with the School Health & Wellness Committee

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
