Mental Health Therapist - Licensed/Limited Permit (LMHC, LCSW, MHC-LP)

Christina Grenoble Mental Health Counseling, PLLC is a south shore based Staten Island private practice seeking mental health counselors to join the team! Must hold a current NYS license or be eligible for a limited permit (no interns). We primarily service adults seeking individual and/or couples counseling and offer both in-person and Telehealth services. Schedule is self-determined and can be fully remote or hybrid (hybrid is preferred at this time, but will consider fully remote positions). Position is as a W-2 employee and compensation can range from $40-$60 an hour based upon license status and experience.

Job Description:

• Support a consistent caseload, at least 15 weekly clients, presenting with concerns such as anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, relationship issues and adjustment related disorders. Ability to work with couples is a plus, but not mandatory to apply to the position.
• Complete necessary documentation in a timely manner related to progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
• Complete initial screening/consultation processes to assess client’s mental health needs.
• Implement evidence-based practice interventions and be cognizant of DSM-5 disorders.

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a completed Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work.
• Must hold a current NYS license OR be eligible to apply for a limited permit.
• Minimum of one year experience required (prior internship placements may suffice for such experience).

• Clinician will be provided with EHR system access which allows for electronic submission of all documentation, scheduling calendar for organization and ability to automate email/text reminders to clients for scheduled appointments, and a HIPAA compliant platform to conduct Telehealth sessions (if applicable).
• Marketing profile expenses will be covered by practice.
• If working with insurance-based clients, credentialing and billing will be handled by the practice.
• Clinical supervision provided as needed if clinician is licensed; limited permit holders will receive weekly supervision to comply with state regulations for accrual towards clinical hours for licensure.
