Smyth Auto Parts is a privately held automotive aftermarket company, owned and operated by the Smyth family since it was founded by George Smyth over 60 years ago. Today this family-owned operation has over 500,000 square feet of warehouse inventory space (and growing) filled with over one million parts including OE, performance, and accessory parts. Smyth also carries a complete line of tools and equipment for the “do it yourself” and professional installers. With a motto of “Right Part. Right Price. Right Now.”


Smyth is looking for an ecommerce fulfillment associate who is passionate about providing outstanding customer experience and has a keen eye for detail. This role is ideal for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take on a key role in our company.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect outgoing shipments to customers, verifying accuracy of contents and ensuring proper documentation is present.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, transferring/ordering parts including picking, packing, and labeling items.
  • Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
  • Attendance is required, avoid absentee and tardy problems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned.
  • Hours would be 9am – 5:30pm or 9:30am – 6:00pm (Monday – Friday) occasional Saturday is possible.
  • Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of the software SHIPSTATION.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills required.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work on multiple simultaneous tasks throughout the day.
  • Able to work independently and within a team.
  • Have good time management skills.
