We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and qualified LMSW candidates to join our team as Therapeutic Monitors. Through this role, you will facilitate supervised visits, provide guidance, and ensure safety for families during emotionally sensitive times. Job Responsibilities

  • Provide Therapeutic and Supervised Monitoring: Facilitate visits between separated or divorced parents and their children, ensuring compliance with court orders and agency policies. As a therapeutic monitor, you will also provide guidance and education to the monitored parent to promote positive, safe interactions.
  • Manage No-Contact Exchanges: Conduct monitored, safe exchanges at the beginning and end of visits, supporting a calm and low-stress environment.
  • Complete Reports: Document each visit thoroughly and objectively, submitting reports that support families and court proceedings.
  • Support Families in Crisis: Handle emotionally challenging situations professionally, with empathy and a child-focused approach.
  • Ensure Consistency & Safety: Be a dependable presence, ensuring visits occur as scheduled and in a safe, low-conflict environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Must hold an LMSW, MSW, or similar Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Family Therapy, Arts in Human Services, Mental Health, Education, or equivalent.
  • Availability: Weekend and after-school availability required; most shifts are on weekends and late afternoons/evenings.
  • Age & Background: Must be 21 or older, able to pass an extensive background check, and possess or obtain a fingerprint clearance card.
  • Driving Record: Clean driving record for the past 7 years (no DUIs), reliable transportation, valid driver’s license.

  • Range: $25.00– $65.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience in social work, psychology, family therapy, security, education, parole, or childcare is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations with professionalism and calmness.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to being a consistent presence for families.
  • Passionate about child welfare and maintaining a child-centered focus.
