About Job
Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
Qualifications - Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required.
- Valid ORState certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for certification).
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, psychological testing, and intervention strategies.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations, staff, and parents.
Start: 25/26 school year
Full-Time:5 days/week
Caseload:Assessments and evaluations
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate student learning and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students struggling with emotional and behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to design and implement evidence-based interventions and strategies
- Support crisis intervention and assist in managing school-wide behavioral issues
- Provide professional development and training to educators and staff on psychological topics, such as social-emotional learning, behavior management, and mental health Consult with parents and guardians to offer strategies for supporting students at home
