Our San Diego drug rehabilitation program is family-owned, locally grown, and a passionate treatment center. Our qualified staff designed our drug treatment program to break down the walls of addiction.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinician to join our dynamic team at our PHP/IOP drug recovery center. At this time we are looking for a registered or certified counselor. Must have experience working with men in a drug and alcohol treatment setting. Candidate must be knowledgeable in ASAM's, LOC's, Intakes and Tx Plan's.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to establish personalized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Provide case management services, including coordination with other healthcare providers, referral services, and follow-up care.
  • Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients, fostering a safe and trusting environment for recovery.
  • Implement and review treatment plans regularly, adjusting strategies to meet the evolving needs of clients.
  • Document all client interactions and treatment progress in the electronic health record system in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and collaborate on care plans.
  • Offer crisis intervention services as needed and manage emergency situations in accordance with facility protocols.
  • Stay informed of current trends and best practices in substance abuse treatment and mental health care.
  • Adhere to all legal, ethical, and professional standards, including confidentiality and privacy policies.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current registration or certification from a California State Substance Use Disorders (SUD) certifying agency.
  • 1 year minimum of professional experience providing direct, indirect, or support services for alcohol and drug programs dealing with individual recovery or alcohol and drug problem reduction.
  • Perform alcohol and drug assessments on selected clients; create treatment plans in collaboration with client.
  • Facilitate group sessions with SUD clients.
  • Refer clients to Peer Counselor to receive community resources and services, ensuring that client needs are met and rights maintained; consult and collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in supervision, program meetings and in -service trainings; participate in clinical review and staffings for clients on caseload.
  • Comply with agency's clinical accountability policies and procedures; maintain current and complete clinical records; participate in quality assurance reviews when assigned.
  • Comply with applicable program research and evaluation procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
