The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Inpatient General Surgery Unit provides compassionate, holistic care to patients and their families, promoting positive outcomes in a safe environment.

• Partners with patients, families, and the healthcare team to deliver physical, emotional, and spiritual support.
• Utilizes the nursing process and evidence-based practices to manage a diverse patient caseload.
• Demonstrates professionalism, autonomy, and leadership while adhering to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, ethics, and regulatory standards.
• Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, a valid Ohio RN license, and current BLS certification; no prior experience necessary.
• Must be able to multitask effectively, maintain a pleasant demeanor, and possess basic computer, organizational, and communication skills.
