About Job

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with behavioral health needs, implementing treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). This role is crucial in supporting clients in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life through effective behavior management strategies.

Duties

  • Assist in the implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes accurately and consistently.
  • Maintain medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
  • Educate clients and their families about behavioral health concepts, strategies, and techniques to promote understanding and engagement in the treatment process.
  • Utilize medical terminology appropriately when documenting client interactions and behaviors.
  • Collaborate with other professionals in special education or healthcare settings to provide comprehensive support for clients.
  • Engage in behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors effectively and promote positive outcomes.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in data collection methods related to behavior analysis.
  • Familiarity with medical records management and documentation standards.
  • Ability to assist clients with various needs while demonstrating empathy and patience.
  • Knowledge of special education practices is a plus, enhancing the ability to support diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication skills for educating clients, families, and team members about treatment plans and progress.

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
