POSITION SUMMARY:

The Center For Family Services Camden Dreams Program is looking for an experienced and professional Residential Counselor for our Permanent Supportive housing program for young adults. Camden DREAMS provides apartments in the Camden area for young adults who have aged out of the foster care system or for young people without the support of family. Program staff work closely with program young adults on goal setting, making responsible choices, and developing a plan for self-sufficient futures. The Residential Counselor supports the overall program and program director.

Location: Camden, NJ

Status: Part Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Residential Counselor works with and engages youths as well as assists in providing life skills education. They co-lead groups with therapists and counselors and ensure that program structure is consistent with stated goals and objectives. The Residential Counselor supervises programs for youth while ensuring structure within the programs. They ensure that daily living needs are met through directly working with youth.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma is required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred


• 2-3 years' experience working with at-risk youth


• Current driver's license & good driving record of 3 years


• Vehicle with current insurance and registration
