Job Summary
Sweet Bloom ABA Children's Therapy Center is a clinic that offers ABA services to young children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) looking to grow their clinical skills to join our team. The BT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for children with behavioral health needs. This role is crucial in providing support and education to clients and their families, ensuring that care plans are effectively followed to promote positive behavioral changes.

***Offering supervision to those currently accruing fieldwork hours towards their BCBA, NY-LBA and/or NJ-LBA***
Duties
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies as outlined in client treatment plans.
- Assist clients in achieving their goals related to language/communication and social skills development.
- Collect and maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client progress.
- Monitor client behavior and report any significant changes or concerns to the supervising BCBA and to other team members during team meetings.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive information.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the overall care provided to clients.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will be required 90 days upon employment.
- Bachelor's degree (highly preferred).
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate clients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Schedule
- Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM

- Compensation is commensurate with experience and level of education.
