Part-Time: Every Thursday and Friday, 2:00 pm-10:30 pm

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health or Psychiatric Technician to join our unique supportive living program, providing wrap-around services for clients with dual diagnoses, including Autism, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and trauma histories. The ideal candidate will have experience in behavioral interventions, skill-building, and emotional regulation techniques. CPI certification or experience delivering behavioral-analytic services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Clinical Team
  • Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to promote independence, emotional regulation, and social skills.
  • Provide trauma-informed support, ensuring a safe and structured environment.
  • Use Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) strategies when necessary to maintain safety.
  • Work closely with an interdisciplinary team, including therapists, educators, and medical professionals.
  • Collect and document data on client progress and participate in team meetings.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule, called in if needed, which may include evenings or weekends.

Qualifications:

  • Required: High school diploma or GED. (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred.)
  • Required: CPI certification
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism
  • Understanding of BPD, and trauma-related disorders.
  • Knowledge of ABA principles, skill-building strategies, and emotional regulation techniques.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in crisis situations.
