Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Days | Acute Care

About the Role:
We are hiring two Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) for a 13-week acute care contract on the day shift. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced social workers with prior Dignity Health experience to support patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Requirements:

• Active LCSW license in California
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Must be 5150 certified in CA
• (Completion of a CA-specific training program + 80% exam pass rate)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
• Previous CA Dignity Health experience is REQUIRED
• Candidates without prior Dignity Health experience will not be considered
• Must provide 2 supervisory references at submission:
• 1 from within the past 12 months
• 1 from within the last 3 years
• Must not have been employed by CommonSpirit Health (Dignity, CHI) in the past 12 months in any direct role

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care in acute settings.
• Support families through counseling and crisis intervention, particularly for children and individuals with developmental disabilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $2,800.00 - $3,000.00 per week

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
