We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals with special needs and will be able to develop, implement, and monitor behavior plans that are tailored to the individual's needs. The successful candidate will have experience in assessing and diagnosing behavioral issues, creating behavior plans, and providing direct support and training to individuals with special needs. This position requires excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, implement and evaluate ABA treatment plans and provide supervision and training to all direct support providers who are working with the children.
- Coordinate and participate in initial and ongoing assessment of clients and their families
- Create an Individualized Treatment Plan including the client’s goals, objectives, interventions, and monitoring the client’s progress periodically.
- Assist and train staff with the client’s individualized ABA interventions and activities in the classroom, home, and in the community.
- Provide model teaching, practicum supervision, and continuous in-service education to all support professionals.
- Coordinate other healthcare providers such as doctors, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and nutritionists regarding patient’s condition as needed.
- Coordinate and conduct care conferences and carry out client and family education programs designed to involve the client’s care with the parents and other siblings at home.
- Conduct and coordinate meetings with the team members to update the patient’s treatment plan, behavioral regulation strategies, and supervision.
- Provide ongoing supervision to direct care providers daily as needed.
- Attend ABA training(s), continuous education programs, and in-service education as needed.
- Carry out consultations with caregivers, parents, and school personnel as needed.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in education, psychology, counseling, behavior analysis, behavior science, human development, social work, or rehabilitation
- BCBA certification or BCaBA certification
- 1-year experience working as a behavior instructor implementing ABA interventions with children with autism spectrum disorder
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,353.00 - $86,400.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
