Soliant is seeking a dedicated and patient Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a part-time school-based position near Henderson, NC. This role involves providing 1:1 behavioral support to a high school student with aggressive behaviors in a structured classroom environment. The RBT will work closely with school staff and a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized ABA strategies.
The current schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30am12:00pm, with the potential for additional hours to be added if the candidate proves to be a great fit for the team and student.

Responsibilities:
- Implement ABA therapy and behavior plans under the guidance of a supervising BCBA.
- Provide consistent, direct 1:1 support to the student in a high school setting.
- Assist with managing and de-escalating aggressive or challenging behaviors.
- Record and track behavioral data accurately and professionally.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff to support student goals.
- Maintain a calm, supportive presence and adapt quickly to changing situations.
- Uphold confidentiality and professional standards at all times.
- Active RBT certification (BACB) required.
- Experience working with individuals with aggressive or high-intensity behaviors strongly preferred.
- Previous school experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies (CPI/NCI) is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree in education, psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet all school district onboarding requirements, including a background check.
- Location: Near Henderson, NC
- Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 7:30am12:00pm
- Hours: Part-time, with potential for additional hours if a good fit
- Caseload: 1:1 with a high school student exhibiting aggressive behavior
- Start Date: ASAP
- Competitive hourly pay ($21$27/hr based on experience).
