We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Specialist to join our team. The Support Specialist will work closely with clients to develop personalized strategies for coping and recovery, ensuring a supportive environment that fosters growth and resilience.

Duties

• Provide direct support to clients in crisis situations, utilizing effective crisis management techniques.
• Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized support plans.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their recovery journey.
• Offer mentoring and guidance to clients, helping them navigate challenges related to addiction and mental health.
• Facilitate group sessions focused on behavioral health topics, promoting peer support and community engagement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with organizational policies.
• Stay informed about best practices in social work, addiction counseling, and mental health counseling.

Experience
