Job and Responsibilities

This is a full-time, in-person with a possibility of Hybrid role as a School Psychologist serving multiple school districts in the Rensselaer, IN area

The School Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, providing counseling and mental health support to students, collaborating with school staff and parents, and implementing intervention strategies. The role also includes participating in IEP meetings, writing reports, and monitoring students' progress.

• Coverage area includes multiple school buildings and sites and requires use of personal vehicle for travel with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
• NASP License (preferred but not required)
• State License as a School Psychologist and Department of Education (when required by state)
• 2+ years of experience (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of Psychological Assessment
• Ability to lead training sessions on various topics related to the field
• Experience working with children and adolescents
• Organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in use of technology
• Previous experience as an Educational Diagnostician preferred
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy of information
• Ability to work with teams, either as a leader or participant.
• Fingerprint background clearance
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents while demonstrating a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
