ProCare Therapy is working with school districts nationwide, who are in need for a compassionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team!In this role, you will be working closely with students, staff, and parents to support academic, social, and emotional well-being. You will also develop interventions, assess needs, and create a supportive learning environment for students. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students in need
- Conduct psychological assessments/testing to evaluate students cognitive, social, academic, and behavioral needs
- Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students to further help them achieve academic and social success
- Support crises intervention and behavioral management strategies
- Maintain accurate records and ensure fulfillment of federal, state, and local regulations
Job Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Current state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and evaluation skills
- Must pass background checks and meet state/local certification requirements
