Supersonic Testing Services, a leader in non-destructive testing (NDT) in Marlborough, MA, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Ultrasonic Testing Technician Trainee. In this exciting role, you'll play a critical part in upholding the safety and integrity of materials used by major aerospace manufacturers.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in a comprehensive training program to become a certified Level I NDT technician in ultrasonic testing (UT).
• Assist senior technicians with the setup and calibration of UT equipment.
• Prepare parts for UT inspection, ensuring cleanliness and proper surface preparation.
• Conduct basic UT inspections following established procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
• Participate in preventative maintenance of UT equipment and the testing facility.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong math and mechanical aptitude.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A desire to learn and develop a career in Non-destructive Testing
