Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health issues. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children and families, and requires a strong understanding of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy techniques. The LCSW will also integrate Christian counseling principles when appropriate, ensuring holistic support for our clients.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, families, and groups, focusing on various issues including PTSD care and special education needs.
• Collaborate with medical professionals in a hospital setting to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize systems theory to understand client dynamics and enhance therapeutic interventions.
• Offer Christian counseling when requested, integrating faith-based approaches into treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in social work and mental health care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.
• Experience in hospital settings is preferred, particularly in patient care environments.
• Proficient in psychopharmacology principles related to mental health treatment.
• Strong background in psychotherapy techniques, particularly for PTSD care and child family counseling.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with special education resources is a plus.
• Commitment to ethical practice and continuous learning in the field of social work.
