Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Grade 6 (Hourly)

Position Description:

The University of Louisville Admissions Department is seeking an Admissions Counselor II. The preferred candidate must live in the New Jersey or Philadelphia area and work from a home office. This position will visit high schools, participate in college fairs, advise and counsel prospective students and families; review and adjudicate undergraduate applications for admissions; participate in outreach programs designed to expand the base of students interested in UofL; uphold membership in local and affiliate admission organizations, and plan outreach programs for prospective students throughout the assigned region. Have strong interpersonal and written communication skills, presentation and public speaking skills are essential, basic technology capabilities, be able to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks and work independently in remote location without daily supervision. It is critical to be able to work collaboratively with alumni, affiliate organizations, academic units, and develop new relationships with high school counselors and community college staff. Position will require travel, weekend and evening work, and will travel to Belknap campus in Louisville for training, meetings, and yield events periodically.

Compensation Will Be Commensurate To Candidate Experience.
