Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Job Description

Panhandle Behavioral Services, Inc is currently hiring for a Registered Behavior Technician in the Panama City, FL area to serve children with behavior disorders, developmental disabilities, and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder in home and community settings. The RBT assists Behavior Analysts and Case
Supervisors with reducing client’s challenging behaviors and utilizing strategies to teach clients new skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, one-to-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and behavioral support to individuals with behavior disorders, developmental disabilities, and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder in home and community settings
• Assist with the completion Behavior Assessments and skills assessments for clients when needed
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans and Treatment Plan teaching strategies as designated by the Behavior Analyst or case supervisor
• Assist in maintaining client data and information
• Administrative duties, which include completing progress notes and monthly summaries as designated by the Behavior Analyst or case supervisor

Qualifications:

• Current certification with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as a

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred, not required (training can be provided)

• High School Diploma required- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education,

Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field preferred

• Experience working with clients in school settings is preferred
• Strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve in the moment
• Ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a service team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation to travel to client settings

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
