A private health system is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
While on assignment in New Brunswick, NJ, go on a New York helicopter tour, visit Monument Square Park, or the Stress Factory Comedy Club!
The facility does not have a Psych unit, so the psychiatrist will be performing consults and will determine if the patient should be admitted to a nearby IP unit or come up with an OP treatment plan and referral. Clerical staff receive and assign consults. Service coverage is divided between two psychiatrists per day. They will see approximately 4 new consults and 6 follow-ups per day. The requested schedule is 4 days per week- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. This position is on-sit,e and the provider must be board-certified.
