Horton, Inc. has an opening for an EDI Specialist- Oracle EBS to work at our location in Roseville, MN. This job is onsite Monday-Friday.

 

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced EDI Specialist with expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite 12 (EBS) to join our IT team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting EDI solutions to enhance data exchange with our key customers. This position requires a strong understanding of EDI standards, Oracle EBS integration, and the ability to work directly with customer and cross-functional teams along with a passion for optimizing business processes through technology.

Responsibilities

EDI Specialist- Oracle EBS Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, and maintain EDI transactions (e.g., VDA, ANSI X12, EDIFACT) to support seamless data exchange with customers. 
  • Integrate EDI processes with Oracle EBS modules (e.g., Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory) to ensure accurate and efficient data flow. 
  • Collaborate with large customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and implement EDI solutions. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. 
  • Monitor and optimize EDI performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. 
  • Document EDI processes, configurations, and mappings for future reference and training. 
  • Stay updated on EDI standards, Oracle EBS updates, and emerging technologies to recommend improvements. 
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on EDI processes and Oracle EBS functionality.
  • As with everyone on the team, other duties may be assigned to support the overall success of the company.


Qualifications



EDI Specialist- Oracle EBS Qualifications:

 

Required Qualifications-

  • Associate’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in EDI development, implementation, and support.
  • Experience supporting EDI transactions in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must have the ability to interact professionally with customers and senior level leaders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Limited domestic travel.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States. No Visa sponsorship provided now or in the future for this position.

Preferred Qualifications-

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes and working with large customers in the heavy duty / automotive industry.
  • Certification in Oracle EBS or EDI-related technologies.
  • Experience with EDI mapping tools and middleware platforms.

 

Additional Information:

The estimated hiring range for this position is $85,000 - $125,000 per year plus bonus. Compensation will increase within the range based on experience and qualifications.
