Job Title: Home Care Scheduling Coordinator

Work Status: Exempt, Full-Time

Work Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, dayside hours

Pay: $45,000-50,000 annually based on experience

Sedgebrook is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Home Care Scheduling Coordinator ! This role is primarily responsible for the accurate and effective scheduling of qualified caregivers based on all new and current residents' needs.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Home Care Scheduling Coordinator:

  • Coordinates and schedules shifts and hours by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to resident's needs.
  • Ensures adequate staffing coverage.
  • Communicates new assignments and/or schedule changes to caregivers and residents.
  • Manages call outs, and maintains coverage to ensure client care is provided.
  • Assists with attendance & timekeeping tracking, communicating issues and patterns to the Scheduling Manager.
  • Assists with managing the department's PTO blocks.
  • Enters data necessary to initiate and ensure accurate payroll and billing processes.
  • Participates in after hours on-call rotation.
  • Maintains knowledge of home care processes including service provisions, and policy & procedure manual. Acquires and maintains sufficient knowledge of home care services to be able to assess quality of services, and to provide backup staffing support when needed
  • May need to perform personal care and assistance to the residents in their homes in an emergency.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • At least one (1) year experience in home care scheduling or other related fields.
  • Basic mathematical skills required.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends, as needed.
  • Ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Computer literacy required; Proficiency in word processing and computer skills (Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and scheduling software).
  • Previous experience in eRSP Scheduling System a plus.
  • Current first aid and CPR certification or must obtain within 3 months of hire.
