Job Summary
The Mental Health Technician plays a vital role in supporting individuals facing mental health challenges within a clinical setting. Responsibilities

Assist in the implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals.
Monitor patient behavior and report any changes or concerns to the clinical team.
Facilitate group therapy sessions and individual interactions to promote engagement and recovery.
Provide crisis intervention and support during high-stress situations.
Maintain accurate patient records, including documentation of behaviors, interventions, and progress notes.
Assist with daily living activities, ensuring that patients are comfortable and supported.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes.

Skills

Proficient in crisis management techniques to effectively handle emergencies.
Knowledge of psychotherapy methods, including motivational interviewing and grief counseling.
Familiarity with art therapy practices as a means of expression for patients.
Ability to provide chronic pain counseling and support for individuals dealing with PTSD.
