- Assists the BCBA team with administrative tasks such as making materials, updating data sheets, and writing protocols under the direction of the BCBA
- Exhibits proficiencies with ABA data collection software and the ability to assist the clinical team with software support needs, as required
- Consistently implements treatment plans with fidelity (under BCBA’s direction) and prepares program materials; treatment protocols that include a wide variety of domains such as toilet training, communication, social, and adaptive living skills
- Collects and maintains accurate data and clinical notes utilizing data collection software
- Reviews and implements consultation/supervision note recommendations
- Participates in on-going training, evaluation, and meetings, as required
- Assists with parent training and clinical assessments when needed
- Communicates effectively with the BCBA regarding learner’s progress
- Communicates appropriately and effectively with colleagues and families
- Maintains their RBT certification by tracking supervision hours and renewing their certification as mandated by the regulatory body
- Works with patients of varying behavioral and skill needs to fill unexpected gaps in schedule, as needed
- Provides support and in vivo feedback in a productive manner to R/BTs who work with learners on the BCBA caseload
- Collaborates with the Practice Manager and the BCBA to report any potential challenges with the day-to-day responsibilities of the R/BTs within the BCBA caseload zone
- Assists with training on specific patient's programs, BIPS, cheat sheets, etc., as determined by the Clinical Manager and/or the BCBA
- Collaborates with the BCBA and completes any non-service tasks related to treatment for learners in a timely and acceptable manner
- Manages time well within the day filled with numerous tasks
- Collaborates with the Clinical Manager and BCBAs to provide BTs with study materials for RBT exam
- Works with integrity and ethically and follows the BACB Ethical Code
- Understands and adheres to HIPAA policies
- Adheres to Cultivate policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Intermediate understanding of ABA principals and terminology
- Must hold an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as BT preferred
- Proficient with technology with a desire and ability to enter data for visual analysis, experience with ABA data collection software preferred
- Demonstrates continuous professional growth with a strong desire to continue learning
- Works ethically and with integrity and follows the BACB Professional and Ethical Code
- Passionate about behavioral science and disseminating best practices and current research within the field of ABA
- Ability to successfully pass background and drug screens
