Now Hiring: School Social Worker (SSW)

Location: New Orleans, LA

About the Role:
We are partnering with a school in New Orleans, LA, to find a School Social Worker (SSW) for the current school year. As an SSW, you'll provide essential support for students in grades K12, helping them manage emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-time or part-time (based on availability)
• Caseload: K12 (specific details shared during interviews)
• Pay Rate: $20$35/hour (based on experience)

General Responsibilities:

• Assess students' social and emotional needs, and develop tailored intervention strategies
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and case management services
• Work closely with school staff and families to create a comprehensive support plan for students
• Teach skills and provide case management to help students achieve their goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or School Psychology
• Active LCSW license under the Louisiana State Board of Social Work
• LPC will also be accepted
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
