- Provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to children and adolescents to assess for Autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, as well as to evaluate presenting behavioral, mood, anxiety, and other externalizing disorders
- Supervise and oversee School-Based therapists to ensure efficient workflows and quality service delivery
- Provide supervisory oversight over our child specialty track and aid in its development
- Offer consultation support for child and adolescent treatment within Athena’s clinics
- Collaborate with clinic leadership to develop and expand programming for children's services
- Maintain administrative oversight of child services programs, including reporting, compliance, and staff training
- Maintain a limited caseload of clients to ensure high-quality, individualized therapy services
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-accredited program in clinical or counseling psychology
- Completion of APA-approved clinical pre-doctoral internship.
- Strong preference for candidates who have a current, unrestricted license as a psychologist in New York State, but will consider well-qualified candidates with a limited practice permit.
- Experience and proficiency in administering and interpreting a wide range of psychological testing instruments, particularly those commonly with diagnosing psychological and developmental concerns in children and adolescents.
- Experience: Minimum of five years of direct clinical work with children and adolescents (including pre-doctoral internship and fellowship)
- Bilingual Spanish is strongly preferred
- Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with parents and families
- Prior experience in an administrative or supervisory role (e.g., Clinical Supervisor, Assistant Director of a Clinical Program) preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to develop structured programming
