General Purpose
Coordinate numerous minor projects from the point of scope development through implementation and commissioning. Coordination will include providing direction to a team responsible for design, analysis, feasibility studies, budget and schedule. Establish project goals, negotiate timelines/schedules, and develop project plans. Also, coordinate maintenance tasks at assigned field sites including all typical building trades and maintenance functions. Process work orders for those tasks. Coordinate with other facilities personnel on documenting processes. Coordinate with procurement personnel to develop contracts, purchase orders and work orders.
Responsibilities
• Promote a customer first culture and commit to delivering outstanding results for customers.
• Manage numerous maintenance activities and small projects at corporate and field locations.
• Assist project managers on complex projects.
• Ensure that deliverables are completed in accordance with the PacifiCorp Project Governance and Standards.
• Develop and implement projects by providing coordination to a team.
• Recommend project plans, timelines, and budgets to management, and monitor progress against plan.
• Evaluate and establish project goals, develop project plans, and negotiate timelines and schedules.
• Communicate project objectives, parameters, status, and outcomes. Coordinate communications to client throughout project.
• Coordinating vendors to provide maintenance at sites assigned to the position.
• Participate with Procurement in securing contracts and purchase orders with vendors for assigned sites.
• Coordinate any vendor staff performing work on the project with the site management.
• Facilitate the integration and change between the business units and technical support staff as it relates to the SAP environment.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with facilities related equipment and construction.
• Experience managing tenant improvements or facilities related projects.
• Two years related professional experience.
• Project coordination skills used to develop and monitor work agreements and budgets, determine specifications, schedules, timelines, and define deliverables.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to interface with team members and customers to promote positive customer outcomes.
• Proficient with the use of personal computers including spreadsheet, word processing and presentation applications to compile, maintain, and present information.
Preferences
• PMP Certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of SAP in cost tracking and forecasting.
• Utility Industry experience.
• Background in HVAC, plumbing electrical or other building functions.
