About Job

Are you ready to take your finance career to the next level? Join our team as an Investment Counselor, where you'll manage a roster of high-net-worth clients without the hassle of prospecting. Since 1995, Fisher Investments has developed a specialized approach focused on providing exceptional service to private clients. In our structured environment, you can concentrate on what you do best—nurturing client relationships.

The Opportunity:

As an Investment Counselor, you will act as the primary contact for our valued clients in the United States. You will collaborate with internal portfolio managers, research teams, and client service associates to deliver world-class service. Committed to being a fee-only fiduciary firm, our compensation structure aligns with our clients' best interests, allowing you to focus solely on their financial success. With our comprehensive training program, you will gain in-depth knowledge of our unique investment philosophy. You will receive support from an experienced manager dedicated to helping you navigate client relationships and accelerate your career.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Serve as the cornerstone of our Private Client Group by building lasting relationships with clients and educating them about our top-down portfolio strategy, investments, and key market developments.
  • Engage with clients quarterly to assess their asset allocation and ensure they are on track to achieve their long-term financial aspirations.
  • Work alongside our sales team to gradually expand your roster of high-net-worth clients during your first year.

Your Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in building client trust and rapport in the finance industry.
  • Possession of a Series 65 license (we will assist you in obtaining this upon starting).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A consultative approach with a strong focus on client needs.

Compensation:

  • Base salary of $85,000 - $130,000 per year, with new hires typically starting at the lower end of the range depending on experience.
  • Eligibility for a discretionary bonus based on both firm performance and individual achievements.

Why Fisher Investments:

At Fisher Investments, we are driven by a higher purpose: to improve the investment universe. We take pride in our inclusive culture and customized learning and development programs. Our workplace has been recognized as a Great Place to Work for our exceptional employee benefits, which include:

  • 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision premiums for you and your qualifying dependents.
  • A 50% 401(k) match, up to the IRS limit.
  • 20 days of paid time off (PTO) along with 10 paid holidays.
  • Family support programs including 8 weeks of paid primary caregiver leave, $10,000 for fertility and family formation assistance, and backup care for children, adults, and the elderly.
  • This role is in-office. Depending on your position, tenure, and performance, you may have the opportunity to participate in our hybrid work-from-home program, which is subject to change.

Fisher Investments is an equal opportunity employer.
