The MARCS Agency is a Mental and Behavioral Health Agency with specially trained clinicians dedicated to providing high quality, mental health treatment to adults, children, adolescents and adults. We are seeking compassionate and talented individuals to join our team!

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:

Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field. Applicants must have Virginia- issued LCSW, LPC, LP, or be Licensed Eligible with at least two years of clinical experience in a mental and behavioral health care setting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Extensive knowledge of:

• principles and techniques of adult, youth and family counseling;

• principles and techniques of client prescreening, interviewing and assessment;

• human services system, personnel and relevant community resources

• family dysfunction factors and contributors;

• behavioral management techniques;

• local community resources and services; and

• crisis intervention strategies

Skills and Abilities in:

• listening and communicating effectively both orally and in writing;

• conducting and facilitating staff and client meetings;

• maintaining working relationships with other social services providers, purchasers and clients; and

• problem solving

Clinical Supervisor must be able to become behavioral management, CPR, and First Aid certified. Contractors and employees are required to pass a State Police, CPS, and FBI criminal background check, as well as a Tuberculosis Screening test to be completed annually. Valid Virginia Driver's License is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
