Compass Health is currently looking for a Program Manager for our Children's Intensive Services(WISe) team in Everett!

We are seeking a Program Manager to provide excellent behavioral health management for our dedicated WISe Mint team in Everett. The Mint team serves youth and their families within Snohomish County.

The WISe Team is a diverse and highly skilled group of clinical practitioners and support staff. They provide a wide range of team-based services that include individual therapy, family therapy, youth support, parent support, and care coordination. Our program is client home and community based to support families in their natural environment and provides 24/7 crisis response.

This position is also a part of the Children's Intensive Services Management Team, a supportive group of WISe managers and supervisors throughout a 5 county region with a wide base of knowledge and skill.

What you will be performing

The Program Manager directs the ongoing operation of behavioral health care services in assigned area, which includes but is not limited to providing clinical and administrative supervision to staff, ensuring that quality clinical services are provided in an efficient and cost effective manner, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of administrative operations of assigned program(s), and facilitating and enhancing collaborative relations between internal and external teams/clinics/stakeholders in the assigned geographic region.

What you will be carrying along

  • MA/MS/MSW Degree in a Behavioral Science related field.
  • Current Washington State Licensure or equivalent in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
  • Qualifies as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) as defined by WAC.
  • 4+ years of direct clinical service experience in a behavioral health care setting.
  • 2+ years supervisory/management experience in a mental health setting required, 4+ years preferred.
  • Clinical experience with children/youth required. Wraparound experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Evidence-Based Practices, or interest and ability to learn.
  • Washington State Approved Supervisor Training must be completed prior to providing clinical supervision.
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification and Food Handlers permit, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License including vehicle and appropriate insurance.

What you will be sharing

  • Extensive administrative and supervisory skills and an ability to clinically manage this population.
  • Thorough knowledge of clinical issues related to acute treatment of children, adolescents, and their families.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of effective crisis intervention.
  • Ability to plan, organize, direct, manage, and coordinate the operations of the program.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple teams on different islands.
  • Based in Oak Harbor but will require routine travel to the San Juan Islands.
  • Ability to complete WISe online training modules within 30 days of hire, and full WISe training within 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to physically intervene with restraint if necessary using non-violent crisis intervention techniques.
  • Demonstrated understanding of team dynamics and the ability to develop a healthy, positive work environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with complex needs and multi-system involvement.
  • Ability to maintain a positive, solution-focused demeanor when responding to conflicts or problems.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • General computer proficiency, including the ability to utilize electronic medical record systems.
