Job Title: Adult Family Home (AFH) Administrator
Job Summary:
The Adult Family Home Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership and daily management of an Adult Family Home, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and a safe, supportive environment for residents. This role oversees staff, finances, operations, and resident services to promote quality living and well-being for all residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Resident Care:
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of resident care, including assistance with managing activities of daily living such as meals, medication management, and transportation.
- Ensure care plans are implemented and regularly updated in alignment with each resident’s needs.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate caregivers and support staff.
- Foster a collaborative and professional team environment.
Financial Oversight:
- Manage the facility’s budget, including billing, payroll, and expense tracking.
- Ensure financial records are accurate and compliant with applicable standards.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and health and safety standards.
- Uphold residents' rights and advocate for their dignity and well-being.
Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement quality control systems to ensure safe, effective, and person-centered care.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address areas for improvement.
Resident & Family Relations:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and their families through regular communication and support.
- Address concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Marketing & Admissions:
- Promote the AFH to prospective residents and families.
- Manage the intake and admission process, ensuring a smooth and welcoming transition.
Facility Maintenance:
- Ensure the physical environment of the home remains clean, safe, and in good repair.
- Coordinate repairs and improvements as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of adult care regulations and industry best practices.
- Experience in caregiving, healthcare, or managing services for vulnerable adults is highly preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

- 8 hour shift
