Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician
Location: Starke, FL
Schedule: M-F 230-630pm
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RBT to join our team for home based services or center services. This role involves providing individualized support and assistance to children with autism of preschool age/or elementary age and implementing behavior intervention plans, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, 1:1 in a classroom or private setting on campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist children with autism in daily activities and learning tasks.
- Implement and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Provide support in academic, social, and behavioral areas as directed by the supervisor.
- Use data collection methods to track progress and report on behavioral and educational outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to create a supportive environment.
- Maintain a safe and supportive atmosphere for all children.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in education, psychology, or a related field preferred.
Experience working with children with autism or in a similar educational or therapeutic setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with autism.
