Position Summary:

Our Client is seeking a Social Worker who will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessment, therapeutic intervention, and aftercare planning for patients on the inpatient behavioral health unit. This role ensures effective utilization of healthcare resources through collaboration with patients, the interdisciplinary treatment team, insurers, and community and family support systems. The Social Worker also contributes to the development and implementation of individualized and group treatment plans to support the ongoing clinical and psycho social needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities:

• To provide assessment, intervention and aftercare planning for assigned patients on an inpatient behavioral health unit.
• Assures efficient patient utilization of continuum resources through close communication and collaboration with the patient, primary treatment team, insurers, and community and family support systems.
• In collaboration with the treatment team, plans appropriate individual and group treatment plans to meet the ongoing needs of assigned patients.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in social work .
• Current valid Massachusetts license in Social Work (LCSW or LICSW).
• COVID Vaccines + Booster required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferably will have had at least one year of social work experience in a behavioral health setting.
