Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to promote positive behavioral changes. You will be responsible for creating a supportive environment that fosters growth and development while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to individuals with developmental disabilities, utilizing ABA techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each client's unique needs.
  • Collect and analyze data to track progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Educate families on strategies to reinforce positive behaviors at home.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and share insights.

Requirements

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Knowledge of patient care practices and behavioral health principles.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation processes.
  • Strong data collection skills and ability to analyze behavioral data effectively.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
  • Previous experience working with children is highly desirable.
  • Certification or training in Applied Behavior Analysis is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.

Pay: From $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
