Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Opportunity at Monomoy Health

Monomoy Health, a growing telehealth-focused group practice in Massachusetts, is bringing humanity back to mental health care.

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team as a contractor. If you’re an independent prescriber (no supervising physician or collaborative psychiatrist needed) with a valid Massachusetts license, we’d love to connect.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform psychiatric assessments and evaluations
• Develop personalized care plans
• Prescribe and manage medications
• Provide therapy and supportive counseling
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant records
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
• Educate and support patients and families

Requirements:

✅ Valid Massachusetts nursing license and PMHNP certification

✅ Independent prescribing authority (PMHNP degree obtained in 2022 or earlier)

✅ Familiarity with utilization review and psychiatric terminology

✅ Experience with EHR systems (we use Simple Practice) and telehealth platforms

✅ Strong communication skills and a commitment to timely follow-ups

✅ Compassionate, patient-focused approach
