Job Title: Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)/Clinical Director
Location: San Diego, CA

Reports To: CEO
Salary Range: $50-55/hour
Job Overview: ABA Autism Specialists is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will be responsible for assessing and designing behavior interventions, providing training to staff and families, and ensuring that interventions are delivered with fidelity. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities, and will possess a strong commitment to improving the quality of life of those served. This will be a contract position at first, with the potential to become a full time/salaried position as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to determine the causes of challenging behavior and identify effective intervention strategies.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment data.
- Provide direct oversight of behavior intervention programs, ensuring that they are implemented effectively and consistently.
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians, caregivers, and other team members on behavior management techniques and data collection procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of client progress and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators) to coordinate services and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
- Lead and facilitate weekend social groups as needed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines for behavior analysis.
- Provide family training and support, ensuring families are equipped to reinforce behavior management strategies in home and community settings.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field of behavior analysis.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field.
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- 1-4 years experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles and intervention techniques, including ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing client needs.
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Verbal Behavior (VB), Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), or other ABA-based teaching methods.
- Experience with data analysis and the ability to interpret and use data to inform treatment decisions.
- Experience with parent and caregiver training.

Pay: $49.95 - $54.92 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
