RECRUITING FOR SOCIAL WORKER POSITIONS

OMH Secure Treatment and Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking Licensed Master Social Workers for our Oakview and Bridgeview Campuses.

Licensed Master Social Worker :

License and current registration in New York State as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Providing social work services to residents who exhibit serious or complicated mental, social, emotional, behavioral, developmental and addictive disorders, conditions and disabilities.

· Work as part of an interdisciplinary team; attend treatment team meetings to present clinical information; serve as a resource to other team members regarding social adjustment, and discharge service needs.

· Prepare reports, progress notes; maintain case records.

· Develop psychosocial assessments; provide individual and group therapy as well as crisis intervention.

· Assess individual and family needs, strengths and limitations.

*Qualifying experience involves such activities as screening, assessing and diagnosing individuals’ and families’ psychosocial needs strengths and limitations; participating in the development of treatment and discharge plans; counseling and educating individuals, groups and families to promote mental, emotional, physical and social functioning; helping accessing needed services; providing client and patient advocacy and crisis intervention; and developing, coordinating and evaluating services and support systems.

In addition to the duties stated above Licensed Master Social Worker II’s have additional responsibilities such as serving in a supervisory capacity.

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

LMSW 1 Salary: $61,270 - $77,912 per year

LMSW 2 Salary: $67,897 - $86,140 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• 8 hour shift
• 4 hour shift

Education:

• Master's (Required)
