Resident Care Coordinator Responsibilities include:
Oversee medication management program
Collaborate with physicians to maintain up-to-date medication orders
Support training and orientation for staff to ensure proper procedures and best practices
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures (P&P) in all aspects of care with a focus on documentation
Assist with scheduling for the wellness department
Serve as a team member in recruiting, screening, and interviewing of all wellness department staff while filling in during unexpected shortages
Administer medications and Resident Care as allowed per state-specific guidelines
Resident Care Coordinator Education & Experience:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), welcomed but not required
Bachelor’s Degree with major course work in human services and one year of full-time work experience in a related field or
Associates degree with major course work in human services and three years of full-time work experience in a related field or
High school diploma or equivalency plus 5 years related experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
