Job Overview:

The Morton Center is seeking a Resource Center Peer Support Specialist to provide direct peer support and resource coordination for individuals seeking recovery services. This full-time role will split time between managing incoming calls to schedule assessments and offering peer support services to clients. The ideal candidate will have lived experience in recovery, a Peer Support Specialist credential, and strong technology skills to navigate CRM and ERM systems. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
Pay: $19.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Resource Center operations, including answering calls and scheduling assessments.
  • Provide one-on-one peer support to clients in recovery.
  • Assist clients in accessing community resources and developing recovery strategies.
  • Utilize CRM and ERM systems for client coordination and scheduling.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure continued engagement in recovery services.
  • Assist with drug screenings, IOP orientations, and outreach events.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Collaborate with treatment providers, families, and community partners to support clients’ recovery plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

Peer Support Specialist Credential (Required)
Lived experience in recovery with at least 2 years of sobriety (Preferred)
✔ Strong knowledge of 12-step programs and community recovery resources
✔ Experience using CRM and ERM systems (or strong tech skills with willingness to learn)
High school diploma or GED required
✔ Customer service experience with compassion and professionalism
✔ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
✔ Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
