School Psychologist – Bilingual Spanish/English - NYC, NY Job Position Details
School Psychologist Benefits:

Job Responsibilities for a School Psychologist:
- Provide evaluations to children aged 3-5 years old years in a natural setting.
- For evaluations: Schedule, conduct and submit evaluation reports and documents on time including suggested revisions
- Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
- Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within the established timelines.
Requirements for a School Psychologist:
- Must have a passion for working with children and families!
- Valid NYS School Psychologist certification
- Valid NYS Bilingual Extension in Spanish a must
- Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to:
- Driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
- The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
- The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
- The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.
Starting Rate: $166-$298 per evaluation
Compensation is determined based on experience and education and will be discussed during the School Psychologist Job interview process.
