Behavior Technician Summary
As a Behavior Technician (BT) at Tealway, you will implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs directly with clients under the close supervision of a BCBA. This role is essential to our clients’ success and involves teaching new skills, reducing challenging behaviors, and helping families thrive.
Key Responsibilities of a Behavior Technician
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in home & community settings
Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies created by the supervising BCBA
Collect and record accurate data on client progress
Communicate regularly with supervising BCBA on client needs and progress
Follow ethical guidelines and treatment protocols set by the BACB and Tealway
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Clear background check and ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
Comfortability with navigating electronics (iPad, video calls, apps)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for working with children and families
Reliable transportation to client homes
Preferred:
Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays
